My condolences Lisa for this immense loss! I didn’t know… I have been thinking about him so I hesitantly looked in obituaries only to be sadden by this post! I’m sending hugs to you… Dave held a special place in my heart and he was such a caring man and thoughtful person!! Again, my condolences to you and your family!
Sorry to hear the news and also sorry we did not make calling hours. We do not get the paper and found out to late. We met Dave [ Buckwheat/ Dickhead] when he was working for Stan Sayer. Drank many beers and enjoyed his company. R.I.P You will be missed.

Lisa, Dave left a whole in my heart as wide as the ocean and just as deep. He trusted me more than anyone ever has. When we talked, we always shared each others ideas, problems and solutions. Remember all the good times. I will never forget them. Life doesn't end here, it is just now beginning for Dave.

Last fall Dave and crew got to come to WV and visit the Forest Festival. I got to be the driver and tour guide. What a wonderful time that was. Dave and I got to share an (illegal) funnel cake while watching the parade in borrowed chairs. It was one of the best parades that I ever watched, since I had such a great buddy/friend beside me. I will miss getting the chance to have more special times like this but I will treasure that day forever!
