Helen, I was so sorry to hear of George's death. I have so many memories of your family from Maywood. Babysitting Caron, Kendra, and Jenny, Your fabulous sense of color, your art, and decorating. I was lucky enough to be a camp counselor at Camp Hi, and I remember your parents so well. Working at Norge Village, I remember George coming in to fix anything, and the peolpe who worked there. I remember him taking us all to to camp for horseback riding(when the gay motorcycle club was camping out),and one year, taking us all canoeing. I can't remember if Eva, Alberta, Phyllis, Laura, Kathy, and the others liked it, But I loved it! Years later, Our Girl Scout troop spent a weekend camping there......our girls loved it, and that weekend brought back many memories. I am so so privileged to have known your family, and so lucky to carry a little of Camp Hi magic i my heart always. with much love, Nora Starick Boland
