Adran Carrol Westfall's Obituary
GARRETTSVILLE-WINDHAM Adran Carrol Westfall, 77 years of age, passed away Tuesday November 22, 2011 at Maison Aine in Stow, Ohio. Born on June 17, 1934 in Roane County, West Virginia the son of the late Virgil R. and Vandena M. (Ashley) Westfall. A resident of the Garrettsville and Windham areas since 1964, Mr. Westfall retired in 1998 from General Motors Lordstown as a DVT operator. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Westfall had numerous interests that included gardening, flying older airplanes, hunting and was a collector of antique tractors. He will also be remembered by family and friends as a "General Operator" giving inspiration and instructions to those he came in contact with. On August 12, 1955, he married Betty Jane (Thomas) Westfall who survives at their home. Also surviving are his children William Westfall and Carol Lynn Westfall both of Garrettsville and Barbara Lynn (Bryan) Davis of Windham, brothers Robert of Antioch, Ohio and Kelsie of Beallsville, Ohio, sisters Pearl Hudson of Malaga, Ohio and Sharon Brown of Beallsville, Ohio, his granddaughter Eva Bryant Westfall and his 4-legged companion "Lulu". He was preceded in death by his sisters Wilma Epling and Sandra Brown and his 4-legged companion "Big Dog". His family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Maison Aine for the loving and tender care given to Mr. Westfall. No calling hours. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
