My husband and Alan shared a friendship for 14 months at their skilled nursing facility beginning in 2021. They both enjoyed talking about their careers in graduate education. Alan and I discovered that we were at ISU at the same time. He was a professor, and I was a graduate student in the Psychology department. We also share a birthday. Our lives were blessed to have known him. Sending our deepest sympathies.
