RAVENNA
Albert Richard Kovach, 64 years of age, passed away Monday August 2, 2021. Born in Akron, Ohio on May 28, 1957, he was the son of Albert R. and Theresa (Brosovich) Kovach. He had been a graduate of Crestwood High School in 1975, and was presently a resident of Ravenna the past 30 years. Albert had been employed at Eaton Corporation in Aurora, later working at Schulman in Cuyahoga Falls from where he then retired. He was a longtime member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mantua. Albert was devoted to his family, cherishing the values that were instilled by his parents of love and respect. An avid fisherman would be an understatement, as he often could be found on the local lakes enjoying his favorite pastime from early in the day, until night fall. Albert will forever be missed by his beloved mother, Theresa Kovach, and dear brother Alan Kovach, both of Ravenna, and his dear sister Theresa (James) Shelestak, of Kennerdell, Pennsylvania, and numerous loving family members. He was preceded in death by his father Albert R. Kovach in 2013. Calling hours will be Saturday August 7, 2021, at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 4255, from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 Noon, where his funeral services will then begin. Officiating will be Rev. Edward Stafford. Final resting place will be at Riverside Cemetery, Shalersville Township, Ohio.
