AURORAAmelia R. Miller, 84 years of age, passed away Saturday July 11, 2015 in Aurora, Ohio.Born in Canton, Ohio on March 11, 1931, Mrs. Miller was the daughter of the late Orlando and Florence (Sarae) Gennett.She was as a 1949 graduate of Mt. Marie Academy in Canton, Ohio. A resident of Aurora since 1947, Mrs. Miller shared the day to day management along side of her late husband, in the operation of Suburban Storm Window & Door Company in Aurora from 1957-1999. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mantua, and gave freely of her time as a volunteer at Robinson Memorial Hospital.Amelia was a lady who gave of herself both spiritually and materially of time and love to others as seen in the numerous charitable organizations which she selected to assist for so many years. A creative individual, she had the ability to use her visual art talents, her unique creative spirit and her love of antique collecting to leave memories for family and friends that will forever be cherished. Amelia shared her feisty attitude of life, combined with a desire to care and always be there for family and friends, as a legacy for those whom will never forget her days on earth. Her smile which was a large as the heart she had for all who came to know her will be missed by all in the days and years to follow. On September 28, 1953, she married her devoted husband William Roman Miller, Sr., whose passing took place on March 16, 2010.Amelia is survived by her beloved children William R. Miller, Jr. of Providence, Rhode Island, Roman O. (Kimberlianne) Miller of Aurora, Fritz L. (Tammy) Miller of North Ridgeville and Karen S. Miller of Dublin, Ohio. Also surviving are her loving grandchildren Sarah (Scott) Barnard, Emily (Rick) Reginelli, Nicholas (Rachel) Miller, Madison VanBuskirk and Chase VanBuskirk, and great-grandchildren Gabrielle, Gavin, Gage, Benjamin and Elena. Calling hours will be Wednesday July 15, 2015 from 4:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St.Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255, where a brief service to honor her life will begin at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Michael Garvey officiating. Amelia will be laid to rest on Thursday July 16, 2015, 11:00 A.M. in the Mausoleum of Calvary Cemetery, Massillon, Ohio. A Memorial Mass to be held at St. Joseph's Church will be announced at a later date.
