Andrew J. Dvorak's Obituary
MANTUA Andrew J. Dvorak, 61 years of age, passed away Monday June 7, 2010 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio. Born on August 27, 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late James and Virginia (Borling) Dvorak. A longtime Mantua area resident, he was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mantua. For the past 44 years, Mr. Dvorak has been employed as a machinist at Colonial Machine Company in Kent. Andrew was the "Rock "of his family, always the steady hand for everyone to show his love by words spoken and actions taken for all. His gentle heart extended from family to animals who he loved and they also went to him as if knowing that he was there for them. On September 10, 1966, he married Linda (Beatty) Dvorak who survives at their home. Also surviving is his son Jacob Dvorak of Mantua; his daughters Natalie Wilson of Naples, Florida, Heather (Alan) Harbert of Garrettsville, Maude (Robert) Hrubik, Jr. and Megan Dvorak both of Mantua; his sisters Rebecca Stone of Shalersville and Deborah Mitchell of Garrettsville; grandchildren Travis and Shane Harbert and Alexander and Ashley Dvorak and his 4 legged child Jade. Prayer services will begin Thursday June 10, 2010 at 5:45 P.M., followed by calling hours from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua. Final resting place will be at Hillside Cemetery in Mantua Village.
