Dad, I love you and miss you already. Thank you for all your love and support over the years. No matter what you will always be my pop-a-doodle. I will forever cherish the past year we spent together. Your birthday trip to Bellair, OH and Adena, OH was so much fun. Steve loved sharing fishing stories, military stories and lunches at the Chinese Buffet. We will see you again.

Dad, you told me one time you didn't think you would go to heaven. You knew what the scripture stated that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. You felt you had no right to heaven. You where right you had no right to heaven, but you change that you believe in Jesus, and you ask him to forgive you of your sins and come and live in your heart. That change everything, even though you didn't deseve it, because you believe what Jesus did for you at calvary you receive that Jesus died for you sins, rose again and was waiting for you in heaven. Way to go Dad. Love Bobby.
Dad, I felt very blessed to be able to spend the short time with you before you went home to Jesus. You knew who I was and you showed that you loved me. I will always remember when you said good-bye, it was : "see you later babe" or "Love you Babe", when we would talk on the phone long distant. I can't remember when we said I love you to each other as much as we had when I spent the last month with you. I will see you someday, You will probably be fishing. Which Scott and Steve said you like to do.

88 years is a pretty good run Pop, I pray it was enough time for you to get right with the Lord!
You are good me and my wife and kids! For my sibs...we all know how tough life is and how nobody is perfect. Dad wasn't perfect but he didn't hold a grudge.
Sorry that we were out of town when we heard the news of Andy's passing. The Rood Family and the entire Chagrin Falls Fraternal Order of Eagles share your sorrow in Andy's passing.
