Andy Martnick's Obituary
STREETSBORO Andy Martnick, 84 years of age, passed away Sunday August 26,2012.Born on April 17,1928 in Dunkard Twp., Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Mike and Mary (Skarpen) Martnick. Formerly of Cleveland, he had resided in Streetsboro since 2004.Mr. Martnick was employed for over 30 years by the City of Cleveland Water Department, following which he worked with his two sons at D.&S. Vending in Cleveland for 20 years. He was a man of many talents that included painting bird houses and statues, making crafts and building and remolding homes. An avid fisherman, he also enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. Survivors include his children Michael Martnick of Streetsboro, Andy (Jennifer) Martnick of Sheffield Lake, Ginger (Walt) Ergenzinger of Delaware and Margaret (Daniel) Palmentera of Mantua, 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his 1st. wife Mary in 1968 and his 2nd. wife June in 2000, brother Joseph and sister Margaret Yost. Funeral services will be Thursday August 30, 2012 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where visitation will be held from 4:30 P.M. until the 6:30 P.M. service time. Final resting place will be at Westlawn Cemetery in Mantua Township, Ohio.
