AURORA
Anna Mae Ferrell, 87 years of age, passed away Tuesday January 8, 2019 in Middlefield, Ohio. Born on January 8, 1932 in Kingsport, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Oma M. (Hickman) Booker. A resident of the Aurora and Mantua areas the past 40 years, Mrs. Ferrell had been employed at Black-Decker in Solon as a machinist, retiring then from Kennametal of Solon. Mrs. Ferrell enjoyed gardening, and loved animals especially cats. Memories of the times she spent with her grandchildren will forever be cherished, as she truly loved all of them just as much as they did her. Survivors include her children Joseph (Terry) Booker of Aurora and Brenda Tipton of Virginia; brother Bill Booker of Kingsport, Tennessee; and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers Miles, Clyde, Virgil and James Booker. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday January 19, 2019, 11:00 A.M. at East Tennessee Cemetery, Blountville, Tennessee.
