Anna Marie Holtz's Obituary
AUBRURN TWP.Anna Marie Holtz, 88 years of age of Auburn Township, passed away Saturday November 21, 2009 at Holly Hill Nursing Home in Newbury. Mrs. Holtz was born on June 5, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of the late George and Helen (Piskura) Pope. Formerly of Cleveland, Mrs. Holtz was a home maker who resided in Auburn since 1956. She was a member of the Church of St. Helen in Newbury. Survivors include her sons William H. (Sharon) Holtz of Mantua and Carl C. (Susan) Holtz of Solon; her sister Mary Sasvay of Garfield Hts.; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard S. Holtz in 1996, she son Frederick W. Holtz in 2009 and 3 brothers John, George and Andrew Pope, and 6 sisters Elsie Pope, Pauline McFadden, Cecila Pope, Sophia Haschak, Margaret Matuska and Helen Svejda. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, St. Rt. 44 at the corner of Pioneer Trail (S. of Rt. 422) Mantua. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday November 25, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the Church of St. Helen 12060 Kinsman Road (Rt. 87) Newbury with Fr. Jay McPhillips officiating.
