Anna Tomblin's Obituary
Obituary
SHALERSVILLE-MANTUA
With heavy hearts we share with you that our beloved mother, Anna Tomblin, 78 years of age, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021, as she has now joined her devoted Sonny whose passing took place on her birthday, January 17, 2021. Our hearts are shattered, but we are at peace knowing that they are together forever. As in life, it was always Sonny and Anna, so in death it remains the same. Born in Logan, West Virginia on January 17, 1943, Anna was the daughter of the late Lenvil and Della (Hall) Workman. A lifetime area resident, Anna was a graduate of Crestwood High School. On July 15, 1962, her journey of love and passion for Sonny, her children, and life in general began, and ended on earth at her passing. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, horse shoes, corn hole and shuffleboard, both with her local family, and while spending the winter months in Florida with family and friends. Her Grandkids will forever cherish the times and love that she had for them. She is survived by her loving and caring family including children Gary Tomblin and Cathy Rager, both of Loganville, Georgia, Pamela Dowd (Tracy ) Harper of Kent; siblings Russell (Peggy) Workman of Mantua, Carlos (Judy) Workman of Windham, Alice Clay of Mantua, Lucy (Muncy) of Warren, Molly (Rufus) Johnston of Parma, and Mary (Tim) Gould of Mantua; grandkids Sarah, Deidre, Ashley, Alexa, Sidney IV, Emma, Amber, William; great grandkids Braylen, Jaxon, and Levi. Preceding her was a brother Clarence Workman, and brother-in-law Frank Clay. Calling hours will be Wednesday January 27, 2021 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255 from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. Face masks and social distancing will be practiced. For those unable to attend due to COVID-19 pandemic, the family understands and asks that you please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Cremation to follow. Her video tribute, condolences, and memories may be viewed at www.greenfamilyfuneralhome.com.
