Anne M. Frost's Obituary
MANTUAAnne M. Frost, 96 years of age, passed away Tuesday October 4, 2011 at Brooks House in Troy Township, Ohio. Born on January 1, 1915 in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Remias) Fedor. A homemaker, Mrs. Frost was a lifetime Mantua area resident, and with her late husband operated the family farm on Frost and Winchell Roads. Mrs. Frost baked everyday for her family and will always be remembered as the "Banana Bread Lady" bringing enjoyment to both family and friends with her special treat. She was a former longtime member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mantua and a member of the Daughters of American Revolution. On March 14, 1936, she married John B. Frost who preceded her in death on May 22, 1993. Also preceding her was one son Bruce Frost on September 26, 2006 and one daughter Debbie Frost in 1959, brothers John and Joe Fedor and sister Margaret Yanko, Rose Quercoli, and Elizabeth Wainio. Survivors include her children James "Jack" (Patricia) Frost of Fort Myers, Florida, Louaine Freborne of Cleveland Hts., Ohio and Diana Frost of Mantua, her sister Irene Gajods of Solon, Ohio and 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be Friday from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where prayers will be said Saturday at10:15 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday October 8, 2011 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Fr. Michael Garvey officiating. Mrs. Frost will be laid to rest at Westlawn Cemetery in Mantua Township. For those who desire, memorial donations in her name may be made to the Hattie Larlham Foundation.
