Anthony Dusek's Obituary
We announce with deep sorrow the passing of Anthony Robert Dusek on September 4, 2025, at the age of 64. Beloved brother, uncle, and friend, Anthony is remembered for his kindness, mischievous spirit, and gift for storytelling.
Born on November 23, 1960, in Garfield Heights, Marymount, Ohio, Anthony was cherished by his parents, Camille and Robert Dusek, and grew up surrounded by love and laughter with his siblings. Throughout his life, he was an avid outdoorsman—hunting, fishing, and trapping whenever he had the chance. He also had an eye for beauty, collecting what others discarded and, with resourcefulness and elbow grease, restoring these finds to better than new. In his later years, he walked everywhere; rarely did a day pass without him taking a stroll outside and stopping to strike up a conversation.
Anthony is survived by his three sisters—Debbie Haylett, Claudia Mercer, and Marilyn Hukill—and is reunited in spirit with his late siblings, Carl and Sybil. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held at a future date, yet to be determined.
Rest in peace, Anthony Dusek. Your memory will live on in our hearts.
