Arlene K. “Walk In The Rain Woman” Tiger, 65 years of age, went home to be with the Lord after a brief but hard fought battle with cancer on Monday March 9, 2020. In moments of heartbreaking grief we are reminded that the reason for the empty space is because we were blessed with someone who loved us so beautifully it occupied an entire part of our soul. Arlene was born a twin on July 29, 1954 in Sutton,West Virginia to Kenneth and Vada (Quickle) Spaur. As a young child she moved to Windham where she remained a lifelong resident. A loving wife, mother,and grandmother Arlene was a remarkable cook, enjoyed thrift store shopping and had a love for the Native American culture. She also had a soft spot for animals especially her cat, Baby. Arlene is survived by her husband Joseph Big Smoke Tiger, daughters Mandy (Michael) Berardinelli and Lisa (Brian) Fitzgerald, beloved grandchildren Mia, Madison, Liam, Colin and Dillon and her seven siblings--identical twin Darlene (George) Carpenter, Bonnie (Butch) Christy, Eva (Denny) Wagner, Connie Donham, Robin (Mike) Goodrich, Danny Spaur, Eugene (Edna) Spaur and sister-in-law Myra Steely. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday March 14, 2020 at the Windham Congregational United Church of Christ, 9029 North Main Street, Windham, Ohio 44288 at 3:00 P.M. Officiating will be Pastor Conni McCambridge. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua where condolences and memories may be viewed at www.greenfamilyfuneralhome.com. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to those who extended financial and emotional support for Arlene in her final days.
