Barbara Koch's Obituary
BAINBRIDGE TWP. Barbara Koch, 84 years of age, passed away Sunday February 14, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Koch was born on July 20, 1925 in Bosnia, the daughter of the late George and Barbara (Muller) Ulmer. A homemaker, she was a resident of Bainbridge Township the past 50 years, formerly living in Cleveland. She loved to sew, make Christmas crafts, play Bingo, baking and cooking and having special times with her grandchildren. On May 13, 1945, she married John Koch who preceded her in death in 1985. Also preceding her was her daughter Kathy Brandt and her granddaughter Christina Ober in 2007. Survivors include her children Robert Koch of Bainbridge, Elizabeth (Bill) Yarnell of Garrettsville and Hilda (Rick) Moss of Mantua; 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday February 16, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua with the Rev. Robert Henderson officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service. Mrs. Koch will be laid to rest at Restland Cemetery in Bainbridge Twp.
