Bonnie J. Long's Obituary
MANTUABonnie J. Long, 70 years of age, passed away Saturday June 30, 2012 at her residence. Born on October 3, 1941 in Saxton, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Paul R. and Dorothy R. (Reed) Ritchey. Mrs. Long grew up in Pennsylvania, moving to the Mantua area in 1958. A homemaker, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and will always remain in their hearts as their No. 1 homemaker. Bonnie also spent unforgettable times that she and "Mickey" enjoyed golfing together. She was a member of Loyal Order of Moose # 1606 in Beckley, West Virginia and Streetsboro F.O.E. 101. On May 23, 1959, she married Max "Mickey" Long, her devoted husband, who survives at their home. Also surviving are her beloved children Daniel Long of Virginia and Jennifer (Charles) Wanyek of Ravenna, her dear siblings Skip Ritchey of Mantua and Cindy Ritchey, Pam Reed and Janice Reed all of Pennsylvania, as well as her 5 loving grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be Monday from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where her funeral service will be held Tuesday July 3, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. Mrs. Long will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery in Mantua Village.
