Bridget Knopf Auble's Obituary
Bridget Knopf Auble, age 58, of Mantua, passed away suddenly, Monday, September 25, 2023 at the UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio. Born August 16, 1965 in Bedford, Ohio, she is the cherished daughter of Norma (Baragry) Knopf and the late Bill Knopf. Bridget graduated from Crestwood High School in 1983 and after a few years, began her extensive career as the Cook Manager at Crestwood Schools where she currently continued to work, and had worked for over 20 years.
Bridget was very active all of her life in the 4H programs with the county fairs, not only with herself but passing down her passion to her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed farming and participating in tractor pulls. She found great satisfaction in cooking for everyone and she loved a good party. If you knew Bridget at all, you knew that she loved her Pepsi, but what she loved more than anything was her grandchildren.
Bridget was preceded in death by her father, Bill Knopf. She is survived by her mother, Norma (Baragry) Knopf; her daughters, Jessica (Kurtis) Biltz of Mantua and Lisa Rezabek; eight grandchildren, Paige Rezabek (Tyler Hall, Fiance'), Hailey, Trinity and Harmony Rezabek, and Kolter, Wyatt, Levi and Stella Biltz; three great grandchildren; a brother, Carl Knopf (Barb) of Mantua; nieces Melissa Knopf of CA, Megan Cushman (Johnny) of Edinburg; nephew Carl Knopf (Brittany) of Mantua and a great niece, Addison Knopf. She also leaves behind countless dear friends and many special "adopted" kids and grandkids throughout the years that she adored.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Corners Catering, 11845 SR 44, Mantua, Oh 44255, Friday, October 27, 2023 with a service at 4 p.m. followed by a reception and dinner at 5 p.m.
