Obituary
WINDHAM
Bryan V. Franckowiak, 62 years of age, passed away Saturday December 22, 2018 at UH-Portage Medical Center. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 27, 1956, he was the son of the late Stanley and Elisabeth (Help) Franckowiak. Bryan grew up in Cleveland, and was a graduate of South High School. A resident of the Windham area since 1995, he had been employed as a truck driver for Quikrete Concrete in Ravenna for over 20 years having been the only employee who started with the opening of the company, and remaining until his retirement in 2018. Bryan enjoyed cars that included presently having his 1932 Ford T Bucket, as well as formerly owning 2 El Caminos. His family will forever remember that Bryan was a craftsman who could build and fix just about anything using his talents when no one else could figure out how to do something. He was an avid football fan, and a man who truly had a way with words. Survivors include his devoted children Vincent Franckowiak of North Olmsted, Ohio, James Franckowiak of Louisville, Ohio, Mathew Franckowiak of Garrettsville, and Jessica Barnes of Oakwood Village; his dear siblings Benny Franckowiak of Freedom Township, and Barbara and Bernice both of Florida; and 4 loving grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Bernie Franckowiak. Calling hours will be Thursday December 27, 2018 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255 from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 Noon. A graveside funeral service will then follow at 12:30 P.M. at Windham Township Cemetery.
