Cal, I will always remember your keen smile and your passion for helping others. You set a fine example as a Christian, a mentor, teacher and advocate for people in need. You have been generous with your time, your words, praise and heart. Your openness and honesty are so much appreciated because through your caring and sharing, you have eased the burdens of others and helped them find light in darkness. I didn't know you particularly well, but I knew you well enough to bear witness to your many qualities and the deep footprints that you have left on this earth. You will be missed.

I really got to know Cal when we went on the mission trips to New Orleans. What a hardworking, remarkable & kind man he was. I loved his smile. I will never forget that I was assigned the job of mudding drywall. I was really concerned I could not do it right. Cal, very patiently, spent a lot time with me to teach me how to do it just right and let me know that I did a good job.. He will really be missed . Cal was a good man and loved by so many.
