Camille V. Dusek-Brady's Obituary
MANTUACamille V. Dusek-Brady, 79 years of age, became Our Gift to God on Friday August 6, 2010 at her residence. Camille was God's Gift to Us on June 21, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of the late Edward and Sophia (Kotkowski) Brady. She moved to the Mantua area in 1960 from Cleveland and was employed for several years as a secretary at Fashion Two Twenty in Aurora. Beginning in 1980, she was employed by the City of Aurora until her retirement in 2000 as an administrative assistant, including several years in that position in the service department until the time of her retirement. A member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mantua, Camille was a dedicated volunteer at the annual Ox Roast Fair and with the church funeral luncheons, as well as serving her church in numerous additional capacities whenever requested. She was a member and Past-President of the Mantua Garden Club, a member and Past-President of the Business & Professional Women's Club in Streetsboro and enjoyed reading and making ceramics in her free time. Camille will always be remembered for her work ethic, smile and her " way with words", which were always spoken with firmness and love. Survivors include her children Anthony Dusek and Debbie (James) Haylett, III both of Mantua, Claudia (Rocky) Mercer of Vermilion, Ohio, Marilyn (Joseph) Hukill of Lacombe, LA.; her sister Linda (Chester) Pletzke of NC.; her grandchildren James, Daniel, Andrea, Brandon, Genevieve Felicia, Michael, Samantha, Paul, and Robert; great-grandchildren Ethan, Aydenn, Alexis and Madison and her former husband John Jeekel of Michigan. She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert Dusek her son Carl Dusek in 2010 and her daughter Sibyl Odette Dusek in 1957 and her sister Elaine Brady and brother Jerome Brady. Calling hours will be Tuesday 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where prayers will be said Wednesday at 10:15 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday August 11, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mantua with Rev. Michael Garvey officiating. Camille will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery in Mantua Village.
