Carole A. Kwasny's Obituary
GARRETTSVILLE - Carole A. Kwasny, 74 years of age of Garrettsville, passed away Sunday April 26, 2009 following a period of failing health. Carole was born on January 12, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of the late Henry and Ruth (Whitehead) Lucas. A lifetime resident of the Garrettsville area, she was a former longtime member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Garrettsville. She was employed at Polson Rubber, Filmco and Omega, from where she retired in 2000. She then worked as a cashier at the IGA in Garrettsville. Carole enjoyed quilting, gardening, gambling, playing bingo, Walleye fishing on Lake Erie, and was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan. She is survived by her children, Stephen M. Kwasny of Missouri, Joyce (James) Henderson and Barbara L. Kwasny both of Garrettsville and Adrianne "Carole" (David) Osborn of Cherry Valley, Ohio; sisters, Audrey Shilling of Auburn Township, JoAnn Warner of Garrettsville and Ruth Jefferson of Bainbridge; 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul H. Kwasny in 1969. No calling hours or services will be held. Cremation has taken place with a private family burial.
