Charles E. Foust's Obituary
MANTUA Charles E. Foust, 65 years of age of Mantua, passed away Sunday June 17,2012 following a fierce battle with cancer. He was born in Akron, Ohio on October 14, 1946, the son of the late Charles S. and Margery (Baker) Foust. Mr. Foust was the devoted and loving husband of 45 years to Wanda (Maxwell) Foust, the proud father of Eric (wife, Ruthie) Foust and was the loving grandfather of Chip, Maddie, Annie, and Matthew. Brother to Sam (wife, Cindy) Foust and uncle to Aaron and Shawn Foust. Charlie enjoyed 5 years of retirement after working for Norfolk & Southern Railroad as a yardmaster. He was known to always take the back roads and enjoy the journey, unlike most people who are always in a hurry to "just get there". He enjoyed the outdoors-fishing, hiking, and riding his bike. The pillar of our family, he was rarely seen without his wife by his side. Welcoming Charlie into heaven were his parents, and grandchildren Joseph and Ellen. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, State Route 44 at the corner of Pioneer Trail (S.of Rt. 422) Mantua, where prayers will be said Thursday at 10:15 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday June 21, 2012 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mantua at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Michael Garvey officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date. His obituary and personal video tribute may be viewed at www.greenfamilyfuneralhome.com. $(document).ready(function(){ flowplayer("vidplyr1", "/tools/flowplayer/flowplayer-3.1.2.swf", { clip: { autoPlay: false, onStart: function(clip) { stopBGMusic(); } } }); });
