Charles "Pat" Strohm's Obituary
WINDHAM Charles P. "Pat" Strohm, 76 years of age, passed away Wednesday October 20, 2010 at his residence. Born June 15, 1934 in Sharon, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Mary L. (Feeney) Strohm. A lifetime resident of Windham, "Pat" had been employed for over 20 years as a welder at Chrysler Twinsburg Stamping from where he retired. He was a member of the Warren 1st. Church of the Nazarene. "Pat" was a "Jack of all trades" who enjoyed using his many talents to help both family and friends. He and his wife Marge designed and built their present home in Windham where his carpenter and woodworking skills are seen in both custom furniture, beaming and flooring that he labored to perfection. "Pat" not only enjoyed people, he loved wildlife, feeding the birds and gardening and had a true appreciation for all of the great world around him. On November 20, 1993, he married Marge (Rushnok) Strohm who survives at their home. Also surviving are his children Mark Strohm of North Carolina, Tony Harness of Newton Falls, Mike (Keri) Harness of California, Robin Strohm of Columbus, Ohio and Christen Grier of Windham; brother Michael Strohm of California, sisters Marlene Strohm of Newton Falls, Beverly Strohm of Oregon and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Judith Strohm, his son Patrick Strohm and Sister Sheila England. Friends may call Sunday from 2:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where his funeral service will be Sunday October 24, 2010 at 4:00 P.M. with Pastor Broe Davis officiating.
