Charlotte Caputa's Obituary
CHARDON-CLEVELAND Charlotte "Kay" Caputa, 67 years of age, passed away Saturday October 10, 2015 in North Port, Florida. Born on May 8, 1948 in Charleston, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late James and Ruth (Layton) Johnson. Kay was raised in Cleveland, Ohio, moving to Chardon in 1991, following which she had been a resident of Florida since 2002. A homemaker, Kay took special pride in decorating her home and gardening. On September 10, 1967, she married Joseph M. Caputa who survives at their home in Florida. Also surviving are her sons Tim (Rebecca) Caputa of Chagrin Falls, Ohio and Scott (Sarah Petrovich) Caputa of Newbury, Ohio, her grandchildren Kolesyn, Jocelyn and London, brothers Brian Johnson of Michigan and Eric (Paris) Johnson of Tennessee, sisters Valerie (Donald) Childers of Virginia, Deborah (Jack) Dill of Tennessee, Julia (Patrick) Baker of Michigan, Marcia (Scott) Powell of Virginia Beach and Louise (Mark) Hirst of Florida. She was preceded in death by her daughter Patricia Caputa. Visitation will be held Sunday October 25, 2015 from 1:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44 (S. of Rt. 422) Mantua, Ohio 44255 where her Memorial Service will begin at 3:00 P.M.
