Cheryl Lee Stout's Obituary
RAVENNA Cheryl Lee Stout, 67 years of age, passed away Friday September 2, 2016 in Kent, Ohio. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 18, 1949, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Lila (Woolsy) Carlyle. A graduate of Carmel High School in Carmel, Indiana in 1967, she had been a Ravenna area resident since 1973. Cheryl had been employed at H.&W. in Kent, following which she was on the staff at Independence in Ravenna for 9 years until her retirement in 2013.Cheryl truly loved riding her horses, camping and fishing, as well as being gifted with her crocheting, arts and crafts. She formerly attended Mantua Country Baptist Church. On November 30, 1968, she married Larry Stout who survives at their residence. Also surviving are her sons Arron (Regina) Stout of Aurora and Seth Stout of Ravenna; her father Kenneth Carlyle and brother Cecil (Janet) Carlyle both of Indianapolis and her 2 grandchildren Kendra and Peyton. She was preceded in death by her mother Lila Carlyle. No calling hours or services. Cremation has taken place per her request. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Cancer Research of America.
