Claire E. Tayerle's Obituary
Claire E. Tayerle (nee Schultz), age 89 of Mantua Township, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at the Burton Healthcare Center. Born January 4, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Helen (Pontinen) Schultz.
Claire was a graduate of Aurora High School and on September 24, 1955 she married her beloved husband of almost 70 years, Jerry B. Tayerle. Claire devoted her life to raising and nurturing her family. She proudly served on the PTA and was always in attendance at any sporting event or program that they were involved in, always ready and willing to offer her love and support.
Along with her husband Jerry, Claire is survived by her 7 children, Jerry B. Tayerle Jr. (Suzette), Scott C. Tayerle (Debbie), Lyle S. Tayerle (Lynda), Suzanne E. Santillo (Victor), Douglas T. Tayerle, Jason R. Tayerle and Karen A. Sharp (Christopher); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her brother Dale Schultz. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Donald Schultz.
Private family service only at this time. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
