Clarence J. Blewitt,Jr., 68 years of age, passed away Sunday June 7, 2020 at his residence. Born in Warren, Ohio on June 16, 1951, he was the son of the late Clarence and Wilma (Bucci) Blewitt, Sr. He was a lifetime Windham resident, and a graduate of Windham High School. Mr. Blewitt proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He had been employed as a corrections officer at Trumbull County Correctional Institution from where he retired. Clarence had many enjoyments that included hunting, fishing, dirt bikes, coaching in the Windham Hot Stove League, and was a huge Cleveland Browns fan. Watching old Western’s on T.V., and the Price Is Right were also a daily ritual, yet most importantly in his life were his kids and family. Survivors include his wife Debbie (Apthorpe) Blewitt, children Chad (Amy) Blewitt, Ben (Casey) Blewitt and Amanda (Jake) Taylor all of Windham; his siblings Charles (Sharon) Blewitt of Allen, Texas, Jim (Judy) Blewitt of Windham, Juanita (Bruce) Tacy and Ruthann (Errol) VanHise both of Daytona Beach, Florida, and 8 grandchildren. He was preceded by his brother Paul Blewitt and sister Dorothy Flegal. No calling hours or services. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
