Colton Michael Nichols' Obituary
Our precious Colton Michael Nichols passed away peacefully January 28th, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was only 3 years old, born September 3rd, 2020. Since April of 2023 Colton was battling Leukemia and made many strides along that journey.
Colton leaves behind his parents Michael Nichols, Alesha Nichols, siblings "Bubba" Zachary Nichols, "Sissy" Alaina Nichols (Garrettsville). Grandparents Lisa Prater ( Mogadore), Richard and Amy Nichols (Burton), Tina Chapman (Ashtabula), Joseph and Tammy Chapman (Ashtabula). Great Grandparents Richard and Paulette Nichols (Mantua), Ruth Prater (Ravenna) and Patricia Chapman (Geneva) along with many other loving family members.
Colton was most known for his love of Spider-Man, monster trucks, sports and Sonic the Hedgehog. He loved playing Mario Kart, game night and many other things with his family and the family dog, Thor. He looked up to his big brother and father, always wanting to walk in their footsteps. He also enjoyed the outdoors and fishing with his dad and brother. Colton had a special place in his heart for his mom and little sister, always going out of his way to make sure they were taken care of.
There are many words we could use to describe Colton's personality. The ones that stick out to us most are loving, thoughtful, affectionate, cheerful, and full of life. Colton would go out of his way to make sure people in his life knew he loved them and also always made sure to make everyone smile and laugh. We were told by many people that his huge beautiful smile could change someone's day in an instant.
Colton will be greatly missed everyday and has made a lasting impression on every life he had a chance to touch. He has made us look at life in a whole new beautiful way.
