SHALERSVILLECynthia Mae D'Alessio, 46 years of age, Became Our Gift to God on Monday March 29, 2010 at her residence in Shalersville. Cindy was God's Gift to Us on July 18, 1963 in Ravenna, Ohio the daughter of Paul E. and Linda (Honaker) Campbell. A longtime resident of Cuyahoga Falls and Shalersville, she was a 1981 graduate of Crestwood Schools. Cindy had been a ROTO tutor at the elementary and middle schools in the Crestwood School System. Her pastimes included cooking and sewing and she was a member of Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Aurora. Cindy was employed as head bartender at the Sheraton Suites in Cuyahoga Falls for 7 years. Cindy is survived by her husband John; her son Jonathon and daughter Jillian; her parents Paul E. and Linda Campbell of Shalersville; sisters Paulette ( David ) Romo and Vanessa (Roger) Salisbury, Jr.; her brother Paul (Sonya) Campbell; her grandson Desmond; her nephews London, Austin, Lyric and Tristan; nieces Sonya (Tim) Finch, Tasha, Marqueta, Tara, Jordan and Mikayla. She was preceded in death by one son Jeremy and grandparents James and Hester Roach and Benton and Georgia Surratt. Calling hours will be Thursday from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where her funeral services will be Friday April 2, 2010 at 10:00A.M. with Pastor Tom Tyler officiating. Cindy will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church, 995 Bryce Ave., Aurora, Ohio 44202.
