David W. Hoffstetter, 51 years of age, passed away Thursday January 23, 2020 at his residence. Born in Ravenna, Ohio on July 16, 1968, he was the son of the late Wayne and Rose (Dysart) Hoffstetter. A lifetime Freedom Township resident, he was a self-employed carpenter and mechanic. David enjoyed making maple syrup, fishing, motorcycles and was a great cook. He is survives by his sister Elizabeth Hoffstetter, and brother Michael Hoffstetter, both of Garrettsville and 4 nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Margie Post. No calling hours or services. Cremation. Final resting place will be at Drakesburg Cemetery in Freedom Township, Ohio.
