David Humberson's Obituary
FREEDOM TOWNSHIPDavid Glenn Humberson, 56 years of age of Freedom Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 26, 2009 at his home after a long illness. David was born in Confluence Pennsylvania on August 27, 1952 the son of the late Stanton E. and Janet (Smith) Humberson. A resident of the Freedom and Shalersville areas most of his life, Uncle Dave "Gibby" worked for 30 years for Humberson Construction as a journeyman bricklayer. Dave loved the Browns, the CAVS, the Indians and most of all his Buckeyes. He also loved watching classic westerns and gardening. He will always be in our hearts and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his daughter, Ammie Sanner, grandson, Braxton, brother, Barry (Sharon) Humberson, sisters, Alice (John) Glassner, Margie (Melvin) Grubaugh and Madeline (Brent) Johnson and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1980 and his father in 1991. No calling hours. A Memorial Service to Celebrate His Life will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Maplewood Christian Church located at the corner of Peck Road and St. Rt. 88 in Ravenna with Pastor Bill Thomas officiating. Final resting place for David will be at Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville Township. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
