David "Sluggo" Lupca, Jr's Obituary
David "Sluggo" Lupca, Jr., 66 years of age, passed away Saturday August 11,2012 at Parma Community Hospital. Born on December 14, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late David and Helen (Dykas) Lupca, Sr. A lifetime resident of the Auburn area, he was a 1963 graduate of Kenston High School, following which he was the owner-operator of D&A Rebuilders."Sluggo" enjoyed going to swap meets and ball games, always a friend to those whom he would share time with, as well as a "jokester" whenever the opportunity prevailed. He was a man who could fix anything, anyplace for anybody. Survivors include his brother Dennis (Heather) Lupca of Auburn Twp., sisters Rosanne Redford of Middlefield and Sheila Boros of Troy Twp. and other loving family and friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday August 17, 2012 from 5:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Auburn Townhall, 11000 East Washington Street. David was laid to rest at Shadyside Cemetery in Auburn Township. His obituary may be viewed at www.greenfamilyfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home in Mantua.
