Deborah L. Mitchell's Obituary
GARRETTSVILLE Deborah L. Mitchell, 63 years of age, became Our Gift to God on Tuesday March 15, 2011 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio. Deborah was God's Gift to Us on August 7, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of the late James and Virginia (Borling) Dvorak. A homemaker, Mrs. Mitchell was a longtime Portage County resident and a graduate of Crestwood High School. While Deborah was an avid crossword puzzler, her most precious times were spent with friends and her family. Not only was she the backbone of her family, always being just a phone call away to listen and provide the best possible advice in any given situation, she had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off of her back. Deborah was a giver whose genuine, loving, caring and non-judgmental soul will always be remembered by all whose lives she touched. Her greatest accomplishment was just being the best mom in the whole wide world. She will be extremely missed by both her family that she loved so much and also by the many friends who came to know her on earth; heaven just gained the most precious angel they could call home. On April 27, 1987 she married her beloved husband Thomas L. Mitchell who survives at their home. Also surviving are her loving children Edward (Sarah Soltes) Mitchell of Kent, Lydia (Robert) Hawkins of Newbury, Sarah Troyer of Windham, Alescia (Michael) Harris of Austintown and Rachel Mitchell of Garrettsville, her sister Rebecca (Randell) Stone of Shalersville, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Andrew Dvorak. Memorial calling hours will be Sunday March 20, 2011 from 2:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua. Cremation has taken place.
