Delta Rose Horack's Obituary
MANTUAEmily Delta Rose Horack, 70 years of age, passed away Monday September 3, 2012 at Heather Hill in Newbury Township, Ohio. Delta was born in Northfield, Ohio on October 24, 1941, the daughter of the late James J. and Louise V. (Pieffer) Krbec. Formerly of Ravenna, she had resided in the Mantua area the past 14 years. Delta had been employed by Life Safe Security of Tennessee as a Technical Cardiac Installer in the State of Ohio for 25 years. She also had been an automotive sales representative in Tennessee and had formerly been employed by Holiday Inns as an event consultant in Colorado. As a former part owner of a Thorough Race Horse, she had traveled portions of the east coast racing circuit. Delta truly was a "People Person" who enjoyed being with family and friends partying, her smile, wit, charm and ability to dress for the occasion always an important part of her personality. Delta-we will all miss you! On June 16, 2000, she married Frank J. Horack, Sr. who survives at their home. Also surviving is her daughter Denise (Craig) Nemeth of Shalersville Township, her siblings Vivian (Joe) Soltis of Deerfield, James (Marie) Krbec of Stow, Ohio and Stanley Krbec and Janice (Bob) Goldsberry both of Evansville, Indiana. Calling hours will be Friday from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where her funeral service will be held Saturday September 8,2012 at 10:00 A.M. Delta will then be laid to rest at Westlawn Cemetery in Mantua Township, Ohio.
