Mantua, OH
Dolores, 88 years of age, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023 at UH Hospitals of Ravenna after a brief illness. She was born in the Cleveland, OH area and was the daughter of the late Leonard and Mildred Kosicky.
A longtime resident of the Mantua Area, she was employed right out of high school and served as clerk under Mayor Robert Willeford of the Village of Bedford Heights. She retired from her secular career after working for the City of Aurora Water Department.
Dolores was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and currently was a member of the Streetsboro Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She actively shared her faith publicly about peaceful conditions returning to the earth under God's Kingdom. Dolores loved swimming, boating, music and dance.
She is survived by her children Michael W., Brian (Debbie), Cindy (Russel), Cathy (Todd), her sibling Bradley Thomas, as well as 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 1, 2023 at 7:00 pm at the Streetsboro Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1694 St. Rt. 303. The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 pm until the service begins.
