Donald S. Daczko's Obituary
MANTUA - Donald S. Daczko, 83 years of age, passed away Saturday June 6, 2015 in Ravenna, Ohio. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 10, 1931, he was the son of the late Stephen and Bertha (Scherbak) Daczko. Don was a graduate of Bedford High School, after which he attended and graduated from Fenn College with a degree in Engineering.While in college, he was active with both the dive and swim teams. Mr. Daczko was President and C.E.O. of Intrusion-Prepakt Inc. and The Prepakt Concrete Company in Cleveland, retiring in 1998 after more than 35 years of employment. A member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mantua, he also honorably served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard. His hobbies included golfing and fly fishing. On December 2, 1956, he married Mary Daczko who preceded him in death on January 10, 2002. Surviving are his children Stephen (Marianne) Daczko , Joseph (Angela) Daczko and Donna (Russell) Sindelar all of Mantua, John (Rhonda) Daczko of Ravenna and Anna (Leo) Kohler of Naples, Florida,sister Joyce Gould of New Jersey, 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Daczko. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St.Rt. 44,Mantua, Ohio 44255, where prayers will be said Thursday at 9:15 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday June 11, 2015, 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Garvey officiating.
