SOLON
Donald L. Nemeth, 86 years of age, passed away Monday July 23, 2018 at his residence. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 22, 1932, he was the son of the late Louis S. and Helen (McGraw) Nemeth. A graduate of John Adams High School, Mr. Nemeth was a longtime resident of Solon where he was employed by the City of Solon as an electrician until his retirement. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the American Legion. Don loved animals, watching old Westerns on T.V., his hunting trips to Western Pennsylvania and being with his family and friends to socialize. In July 0f 1950, he married June (Schultz) Nemeth who preceded him in death in 2000. He is survived by his daughter Teresa (Brad) Young of Beachwood, his sons Craig (Denise) Nemeth of Mantua and Garry Nemeth of Bainbridge. Also surviving are his grandchildren Kayleigh Nemeth, Zoe and Mike Nemeth and Brian Carroll. Cremation has taken place. No calling hours or services. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
