Donald E. Newrones, Sr.'s Obituary
TROY TOWNSHIP Donald E. Newrones, Sr., 78 years of age, passed away Wednesday August 24, 2016 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Hts., Ohio. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 19, 1938, he was the son of the late George and Elizabeth (Parrel) Newrones. A resident of Troy Township, Mr. Newrones formerly lived in Garfield Hts. where he was employed as maintenance supervisor at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, retiring in 2000. Since 2000 he was employed part time at the Federated Church in Chagrin Falls in maintenance until his retirement. On October16, 1961, he married his beloved wife Eleanore M. Newrones who preceded him in death on July 12, 2014. His love and devotion to Mrs. Newrones will forever be remembered by both family and friends. Also preceding him in death were his brother George Newrones and sisters Elizabeth Rydell, Mary Jane Schmidlin and Geraldine Pavlik. Survivors include his loving children Donald Newrones, Jr. of Troy Twp., William (Justine) Newrones of Massillon, Ohio, Donna L. (Richard) Koller of Auburn Twp., and Louise (Daniel) Smallwood of Michigan; brothers Philip (Patricia) Newrones of Macedonia, Daniel (Eileen) Newrones of Texas; sisters Rosemary (Ted) Uber of Maple Hts., Jacqueline Knaack of Olmsted Falls; grandchildren Laura, Holly, Chelsea, Andrew, Cory, Logan, Bill, Monica and Steve and great-grandchildren Carter, Ava, Leland and Stella. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday August 27, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 18205 Chillicothe Road, Chagrin Falls, Ohio with Rev. Dan Schlegel officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of Mass. Final resting place will be at Troy Twp. Cemetery.
