Donald Parsons' Obituary
HIRAMDonald N. Parsons, 54 years of age, became Our Gift to God on Sunday August 9, 2015 at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Don was God's Gift to Us on January 2, 1961 in Logan, Ohio, the son of the late William and Elaine (Gamage) Parsons. Don was a lifetime Hiram area resident where he was an active member of the Hiram Christian Church. During his life he had been employed as a machine repairman at Crown Mold in Streetsboro, a security guard at River Pines, and as an Integration Specialist at Whitehaven Farms, LLC, as well as providing landscaping services for many years. While the outdoors and nature were very important to him, Don also found great pleasure with his creative abilities as a wood carver and oil painter. On September 2, 2000, he married Judith L. (Cox) Parsons, who along with his daughter Elizabeth Laubscher, survive at their home in Hiram. Also surviving is his brother Larry (Charnell) Parsons of Southington, Ohio, and sisters Lauri (Lars) Schuster of Canada and Vicki Galloway of Washington State. No calling hours. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of His Life Service will be held Saturday August 15, 2015, 2:00 P.M. at the Hiram Christian Church, 6868 Wakefield Road, Hiram, Ohio with Dr. Irvin W. Green officiating. Visitation at the church will begin at 1:00 P.M. until the time of his service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested in his name to the church at P.O.Box 937, Hiram, Ohio 44234. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
