MANTUA
Donald E. “Mr. Don” Zeigler, 72 years of age, passed away Thursday September 17, 2020 at University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 26, 1947, he was the son of the late Robert and Alice (McCune) Zeigler. A resident of the Mantua area the past 50 years, Don was a licensed cosmetologist having operated Mr. Don’s Beauty Shop, and then employed at Dee’s Klip Joint in Mantua for 50 plus years. Over the years, Don was active in numerous community activities, always available to lend a helping hand when needed. Don will always be remembered for the courteous and meticulous care that he gave all of his customers. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mantua, and had served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. Cherished memories of Don will forever be carried on by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members that he loved, as family was most important to him. On April 12, 1969, Don married Beverly (Leister) Zeigler who survives at their home. Also surviving are his children Doug (Chris) Zeigler and Shelly Zeigler both of Freedom Twp., Keith Zeigler of Randolph and Kim (Brian) Ewing of Mantua; his siblings Ted Zeigler and Debbie (Allen) Atkins both of Mantua, Joyce Zeigler of Streetsboro; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Proceeding in death were his brothers Robert and Randy Zeigler. Private family services are being held at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
