Donna F. Hirschman's Obituary
. STOW-MANTUA Donna Faye Hirschman, 84 years of age, passed away Saturday June 4, 2016 at her residence in Stow, Ohio. Born in Aurora, Ohio on April 16, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Lester C. and Emily (Veverka) Sweet. A graduate of Aurora High School, Donna resided in Twinsburg from 1964-2005 when she moved to Stow, and formerly had lived in the Aurora and Mantua areas. A homemaker, she enjoyed sewing, baking, playing the lottery, and had a special touch with her "Green Thumb" for gardening. She was a member of the Mantua-Center Christian Church. On March 24, 1951, she married Leonard J. Hirschman who preceded her in death on August 10, 2008. Survivors include her children Lee Hirschman and Cindy Hirschman both of Ravenna, Dennis Hirschman and Darlene (Pat) Boehm both of Florida; 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. No calling hours. A graveside burial service will be held Saturday June 11, 2016 at Westlawn Cemetery in Mantua Township at 1:30 P.M., with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2:00 P.M. at the Mantua-Center Christian Church, 4118 State Route 82, Mantua, Ohio 44255 with Pastor Chad Delaney officiating. Family and friends are then invited to a luncheon at the church immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, 3358 Ridgewood Road Akron, Ohio 44333. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
