Dorothy Lee's Obituary
Streetsboro Dorothy M. Lee, 85 years of age, passed away Wednesday August 7, 2013 at her residence. Dorothy was born on May 30, 1928 in Hudson, the daughter of the late John and Lottie (Winchell) Dunlap. She resided in Streetsboro since 2001, formerly a longtime resident of Aurora. Dorothy had retired from Aurora City Schools where she assisted in the High School Library for many years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star at the former James A. Garfield Chapter in Aurora. Dorothy enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and enjoyed having them around her at her home and on many vacations. She treasured the 63 years of marriage to her husband, William H. Lee who preceded her in death on May 1, 2011. Dorothy is survived by her two children, Shirley J. Merkel of Mantua and William A. Lee of Garrettsville; four grandchildren, Abbey, Erin, Katie and Kurtis; two great grandchildren; she also leaves her two brothers, Ernie Dunlap of Tallmadge and Dale Dunlap of Youngstown Fl. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and a sister. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday August 11, 2013 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Mantua.
