Edward A. Williams' Obituary
AURORA Edward A. Williams, 69 years of age, passed away Thursday September 22, 2016 in Aurora, Ohio. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on September 24, 1946, he was the son of the late Harold and Dorothy (Everett) Williams. Formerly of Perry, Ohio, Mr. Williams had been employed as a CPA for Andrews Corporation. A resident of Aurora since 2006, he was a member of The Church in Aurora. During the Viet Nam Era he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Mr. Williams was a longtime volunteer at the Cuyahoga Valley National Park with the Adopt-A-Trail program. On January 23, 1971, he married his devoted wife Carolyn A. (Phillips) Williams who survives at their residence. Also surviving is he beloved daughter Niki (Anthony) Marotta of Aurora, his loving grandchildren Samantha, Cassaundra, Alyssa and Jessica who will forever remember their ?Pop?, and his dear siblings David (Dee) Williams of Mountain Top, Pennsylvania and Judith (Paul) Donlin of Dallas, Pennsylvania. Preceding him in death was his dear sister Sharon Shaver. Visitation will be Sunday September 25, 2016 from 2:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255. A Memorial Service for Mr. Williams will be held Monday September 26, 2016, 12:00 Noon at The Church in Aurora, 146 S. Chillicothe Rd., Aurora, Ohio 44202 with Rev. Kevin Horak officiating. Immediately following a time of fellowship and luncheon will take place at the church. Final resting place is at Aurora City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Adopt-A-Trail Program, 15610 Vaughn Road, Brecksville, Ohio 44141 or to The Church in Aurora, 146 S.
