STREETSBORO
Elizabeth C. Chiller, 87 years of age, Went Home to the Lord on Friday May 15, 2020. Mrs. Chiller was God’s Gift to Us on March 15, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late John and Lucinda (Pebbles) McVeigh. A resident of Streetsboro the past 35 years, she had been a very active member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Streetsboro, and presently was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mantua. Mrs. Chiller had been employed at Metro Health Skilled Nursing Center, retiring in 1995. An avid reader, Elizabeth will be remembered as a lady who was truly family oriented, as being a wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother was most important in her life. On February 4, 1952, she married her beloved husband Julius Chiller whose passing took place in 2012. Survivors include her devoted children Judith (Thomas) Nalepka of Mentor-on-the-Lake, Kathlene (James) Bucceri of Olmsted Twp., Julius (Willow) Chiller of Stow, Eric (Darlene) Chiller of Brook Park, Karen (Mike) Alexander of Mantua, Kurt (Tricia) Chiller of Ravenna and Laura (Steve) Shahan of Shalersville. Also surviving are her dear siblings Nancy (Randy) Snavely of Northfield and Ruth Renkel of Streetsboro, 20 loving grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday May 20, 2020 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service 4668 Pioneer Trail; at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255 with Rev. Edward Stafford officiating. Final resting place will then follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to The Hattie Larlham Foundation or The Hospice of Western Reserve.
