Ellen Pat Hocevar's Obituary
MANTUA Ellen (Pat) Hocevar, 79 years of age, passed away Tuesday May 9, 2017 at the Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio. Pat was born in Akron, Ohio on September 8, 1937, the daughter of the late Allan and Wilma (Estep) Cargould. A longtime resident of the Mantua area, she had operated a restaurant in Oakwood Village, been employed as a bus driver for the Nordonia School District, and had operated her own house keeping business in Mantua. Pat lived a very active and spirited lifestyle, always sharing her thoughts without hesitation, and will be remembered for the enjoyment she had with the fellowship of everyone on Mantua-Center Road. To know Pat, was to love her. She is survived by her daughter Sherri (Khim) Standen of Stow, Ohio, her son Mark (Patricia) Boling of Florida; sisters Mary Kathryn (Bill) Ellis of Florida and Lois Fritz of Cuyahoga Falls; five grandchildren Kristi, Justin, Jesse, Samantha and Victoria, and 5 great-grandchildren, and special nephew Allan Cargould. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward J. Hocevar in 2010, her son Guy Boling in 2001, her grandson Brett, brother Ernest Cargould and sister Wilma Downs. Funeral services will be Monday May 15, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St.Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255, where visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. until the time of her service.
