Emil J. Vogias, Jr.'s Obituary
MANTUA Emil J. Vogias Jr. beloved father & husband passed on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 after a long illness. Emil was born on January 7, 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio, served in Vietnam, and spent most of his life as a salesman. He shared fond memories of being the ?cookie guy? for Streetsboro Community Theatre and creating floats for Ravenna Balloon-A-Fair?s Children?s Parade. He is preceded in death by his parents Emil J. Vogias Sr. and Bernice (Popadak) Vogias. He is survived by his wife Debra (Wilson) Vogias, and daughters Megan and Katelyn Vogias, in-laws Dr. Neil and Jean (Wilson) Cabe, siblings David (Vivian) Vogias of Ft. Myers, Florida, Christopher (Julie) Vogias of Tampa, Florida, Cynthia (Vogias) Smith of Stow and Rebecca Vogias of Kent, nieces and nephews Jennifer (Vogias) Velazco, Ashley Vogias, Justin Vogias, and Andrew Smith. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Mantua Village Park Lodge at 4808 East High Street Mantua, Ohio 44255.
