Eunice Schienke's Obituary
Eunice Schienke, 66 years of age of Chardon, passed away Saturday March 17,2012 at her residence with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Schienke was born on September 6, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of the late Peter and Margaret (Kurpyl) Yurchek. A lifetime resident of the Chardon area, Eunice graduated from Chardon High School in 1963. Eunice was presently employed as a legal assistant for the law firm of Dworken & Bernstein in Painesville, a position she has held since 1963. Her years of dedicated service were a tremendous asset to attorneys Melvyn Resnick and Dave Richards, as well as all other professionals within the firm. A member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Chardon Congregation, Eunice was very active in all phases of her congregation, including talking about her Ministry with people in all walks of life that she came in contact with. While she enjoyed traveling over the world with her husband, her brilliant smile and personal warmth will be remembered by those who knew her, and her love for family and the special cherished times spent with her grandchildren will forever be kept in their hearts. On August 15, 1964, she married her devoted husband Ted Schienke who survives at their home. Also surviving are her beloved daughters Danielle (Doug) Magdych of Rogers, Arkansas and Tamara (John) Dryburgh of Austintown, her dear siblings Donald (Billee) Yurchek of South Carolina, Steve(Karen) Yurchek of Georgia, Martha (Carl) McFarland of Arizona, Gloria(Robert) Diedrich of Chardon, Evelyn (Randy) Smitko of Elyria and Marilyn (Richard) Farmer-Arnold of Hinckley and her loving grandchildren Lexie, Luke, Karissa and Aaron. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, State Route 44 at the corner of Pioneer Trail (S.of Rt.422) Mantua.Eunice will be laid to rest Thursday March 22, 2012 10:00 A.M. at Clairdon Center Cemetery on Rt. 322 in Clairdon Township, Ohio. A memorial service will be held Sunday March 25, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 110 Woodiebrook Dr., Chardon, Ohio with Philip Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to The Hospice of Western Reserve or The Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
