My condolences to Miss Faye’s family. I met Faye several times with my daughter-in-law Kenda who was Faye and Roy’s next door neighbor for several years. What a delightful person! She was welcoming, kind, cheerful, feisty and funny. I enjoyed every visit with her. I am happy she will now be back with Roy and her son’s. Miss Faye, Rest In Peace.

My heart is heavy. When I received the that my dear friend Miss Faye passed away on Saturday I was crushed. She was 92 years young and lived on her own until this summer. She was a strong, resilient and funny lady! She had to do what no woman wants to do: she outlived her husband and two sons. Her Catholic faith was strong and a true inspiration! Miss Faye had a hot pink walking cane: bright and loud just like her. She had been through so much in her life. Miss Faye prayed for us everyday. She was a fellow Libra, charismatic and full of love and laughter. Miss Faye was the third person to find out I was pregnant with my son and she loved him so very much. And I kept that tradition alive when I found out about my second pregnancy with my daughter! I am so thankful we lived next to her and Roy when we moved to Ohio years ago. My husband was right when he tried to console me that we have been so blessed with wonderful neighbors through the years. There are reminders all over of my house of Miss Faye and her family. I have very fond memories of her and her husband that i will cherish forever! She was the most honest and hilarious lady ever. I hope to grow up and be like her one day: young at heart and full of love! Heaven gained a true angel Saturday. Godspeed, Faye!

I enjoyed getting to know you while being your aide at Aurora Manor.May your friends and family find peace at this difficult time.
