Florence E. Kerecman-Hesketh's Obituary
STREETSBORO Florence E. Kerecman- Hesketh, 88 years of age, passed away Wednesday June 8, 2011 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio. Born in Mayfield Township, Ohio on September 3, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Elwood and Ella (Wehling) Myers. A resident of Streetsboro since 2000, she formerly was a longtime Mantua resident. A homemaker, Mrs. Hesketh enjoyed quilting, playing cards, travel which included cruises with her husband and special times with her family. A member of Portage Faith United Methodist Church, Mrs. Hesketh was also a longtime member of the Daughters of America. Survivors include her son Ronald (Joyce) Hesketh of Florida, daughters Lillian Atkinson of Mantua and Joeanne (Gary) Broz of Massachusetts, sister Vivian Feola of Strongsville and 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hesketh was preceded in death by her first husband John Kerecman in 1972, her second Raymond K. Hesketh whom she married on May 21, 1976, on March 28, 2011, her daughter Susan Block, her grandson James Mould, brothers Lester, Lawrence and Clifton Myers and sisters Pauline Petia and Arlene Kron. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua. Funeral services for Mrs. Hesketh will be Monday June 13, 2011 at 11:00 A. M. at Portage Faith United Methodist Church, 9922 St. Rt. 44 with Rev. Carolyn Berry officiating. Mrs. Hesketh will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery in Mantua Village.
